For the Kids - 5/09/08 Today, a few friends and myself had the opportunity to actually do some good with our cars in our local community. Steven Sueppel, former Formula D driver, had invited us (Colin Frost, Ryan Litteral, Brandon, and myself) out to an event he organized at his wife's elementary school in Hesperia. In reward for achieving a reading goal of over 7000 reading points, these elementary school kids won the opportunity to see some drift cars and meet the cool guys that drive them. Simply put, this was a blast. The kids were super excited to see cars cruise through their playground on to the center of the school. They showed us so much appreciation and excitement while treating us like rock stars. I think we might have enjoyed it more than the kids. We brought out our cars, signed some autographs, made some noise, and gave these kids a day of entertainment.
