At 22 years of age, Jon Bao has experienced and accomplished more than many in his age group. As a man of commitment, he has competed in athletics on a national level, entertained the masses via music, and started a professional career in the automotive industry. As diverse as his skills and trades may be, his passion for racing has overshadowed all of his other interests. "Whereas many of the people who I have grown up with have spent years in Europe in a study abroad program, sailed the seas for months as a means of self-enlightenment, and have decreased their closet capacity as a means of spending money, I have found myself, over the years, putting my finances towards my own form of self-enlightenment; driving." One of the things that most drivers take for granted is the fact that driving on the streets is the most dangerous thing you can do in America. More people die from driving every year than anything else. What racing has given to me is the confidence necessary while driving.
